Piano Lessons

Our piano lessons blend musical excellence with Christian values to help students of all ages and skill levels honor God through the gift of music. We cultivate technical skill, music theory, and a heart for worship in an encouraging, faith-filled environment.

Lesson Features

  • Private Instruction: We offer one-on-one tailored pacing for kids, teens, and adults. Our teachers strive to help students succeed in the areas they are most interested in musically, while also challenging them to try new musical styles and techniques.

  • Comprehensive Learning: Our lessons cover note reading, rhythm, chord theory, improvisation, composition, and ear training.

  • Faith-Based Focus: We integrate traditional hymns and contemporary worship music into the curriculum.

  • Stewardship & Excellence: We teach music as a tool to serve the student’s soul, family, church, and community.

  • Performance Opportunities: Our students are invited to share their musical talents in at least two performances each year. We will present a small concert to residents of a local nursing home in early December, and a more formal recital at the end of our regular session (usually in early April).

Program Options

  • 30-Minute Lessons: Best for young beginners through intermediate students who are developing their skill and basic technique.

  • 45-Minute Lessons: Ideal for intermediate and advanced students ready for a deeper repertoire.

Instructors

  • Jenni Blaser: I started playing piano at the age of eight and began teaching while I was in college, where I discovered a passion for helping beginning students experience the joy and confidence that comes with learning music.  I believe piano lessons should build a strong musical foundation while making learning fun, encouraging, and rewarding for every student. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Mark, and our two children, Mason and Hope.  As a family, we love traveling, camping, and making memories together.  I’m excited to get back into teaching after taking a hiatus for family.

  • Jenn Horak: I studied Sacred Music with a concentration on piano performance in college, and have over 10 years of piano teaching experience. I love helping my students explore and create at the piano, as well as developing their technical abilities. My goal is for them to feel confident in their ability to express themselves musically (regardless of how advanced they are), and to be able to glorify God through their music. Besides playing the piano, my days are full with homemaking, homeschooling our 4 children, and helping my husband with our business. In my free time, I enjoy reading, gardening, crocheting, spending girl-time with my daughter, and watching my boys wrestle or play soccer.
